No exam No exam, on grades
The average of mathematics and both foreign languages over six half-years and the first half of the final year (21 grades). The dean sets the line so that about half of the intake comes this way; for 2026/27 it was 1.33 for International Trade, 1.10 for International Studies and Diplomacy and 1.48 for Tourism and Hospitality Management. Documents by 30 April.
No exam Mock exam
Anyone who scores at least 60% in each of the three tests of the FMV mock exam is admitted without the exam; the tests can be passed on different dates.
No exam Competitions
Reaching the national round of a foreign-language olympiad, of the Logic Olympiad (category C) or of the Mathematical Olympiad (category A); for International Trade and Tourism also the national round of the Economics Olympiad.
Also Maturita and certificates instead of a test
The maturita exam in advanced mathematics replaces the mathematics test (grade 1 counts as 1000 points, 2 as 900, 3 as 800). A B2 language certificate replaces the language test with 800 points, C1 or C2 with 1000; it may not be older than two years.
No exam Foundation year
Anyone who earns at least 45 credits in the programme's courses through VŠE's lifelong learning is admitted without the exam.
Other requirements: A maturita in Czech or Slovak is required, or else a Czech test. The second language may not be an official language of the applicant's own country. English-taught programmes and the part-time Manažer obchodu have their own conditions.
